The process includes the following steps:

3. Convert the 2D photo into a 3D model using 3D engineering software.
4. Inspect the crystal material.

6. Laser-etch the 3D model into the crystal, with professionals constantly monitoring the engraving to ensure no errors.
8. Perform quality control checks.

Unfortunately, laser engraving is different from printing. Our custom crystal images are made by etching tiny dots inside the crystal, so it is not possible to add color inside. However, we can use UV technology to make a colorful and realistic effect on a flat surface.

Our custom crystals are designed to stand alone, but adding an illuminated base can help highlight the unique details of a custom carving. Bases are optional and come in a variety of styles: wood, crystal, or gum. For a more polished look, we recommend adding a base.

Materials: The plastic base is made from environmentally friendly AB processing, while the wooden base is made from wood such as tung wood and oak.
Lighting: The plastic base provides a steady white light; the wooden base features an automatically changing color light.
Power: The plastic base uses 3 AA batteries or USB-C; the wooden base includes a rechargeable battery and a DC power supply.
Design: The plastic base has a flat surface for versatility; the wooden base has grooves for added stability.

The engraving process uses an advanced laser to create tiny pixels within the crystal. The more detailed the pattern, the more pixels are needed, and a high pixel density increases the risk of cracking.
For best results, choose a crystal size appropriate for the number of figures you wish to include.
